Henrietta Knight is set to have her final runners this weekend after announcing her retirement following 23 years as a trainer at West Lockinge, near Wantage.
The 65-year-old handler saddles The Queen’s Harvest Song in the 6.40 at Stratford tonight, and has also My Friend Riquet and Seventh Hussar entered at Fontwell on Sunday.
Harvest Song faces seven rivals in a novices’ handicap chase, and after announcing her retirement, Knight said: “I would love him to win for The Queen.”
