Horley edged closer to the Cherwell League Division 5 title thanks to an impressive run chase at Thame Town 2nd.
Town looked well-placed after Will Sutcliffe (76) and Tom Logan (48) saw them to 220-6, but Sam Pearce (71), Dave Eaton (38) and Jamie Abbotts (37no) timed the pursuit perfectly as Horley reached 221-6 with 11 balls to spare.

Didcot lost ground after being held to a draw at Abingdon Vale 2nd.
Ian Demain hit 82 and Henry Brisland 62 in Didcot’s 216 all out.
Julian Hitchman (4-28) gave the visitors hope, but Henry Pickford (38) and some stout defence saw Vale to 166-9.

Challow & Childrey 2nd scraped past Banbury 4th to move within two points of Didcot.
Dan Alderson took 3-32 as Banbury were all out for 130 and the hosts just made it to 131-8 before running out of batsmen.

Robbie Cooke top-scored with 80 as Horspath 3rd rattled up 234-4 at home to Tiddington 2nd.
Clive Ricks rolled back the years to take 3-46, but Nick Edmondson’s 66 was enough to secure the visitors a draw on 184-7.

Rob Cartwright captured fine figures of 6-49 for Kimble, who reached 183-9 away to Brackley 2nd.
Ben Mooney (50) and Steven Richards (48) were leading run scorers for the visitors, who then restricted Brackley to 168-9.
Matt Lowe hit 57 while Adrian Rose took 5-70.
