MARK West is calling for a quick reaction from Thame United when they travel to Coleshill United in Evo-Stik South League Division 1 Central tomorrow.

Thame fell to their first league defeat last week at home to Barton Rovers, in a game where they were on top throughout but could not find the net.

West said: “Last week was just one of those games where we were always better, but for all our dominance, couldn’t score.

“It was very disappointing, but I have said before I think at times we will struggle to score goals.

“We huffed and puffed, but didn’t look like getting a goal.”

Coleshill are mid-table having been promoted to the South League last season.

West said: “They came up last year and play on an artificial pitch.

“That’s something we will have to deal with, but I think we will be fine. I’m expecting a good reaction from last week.”

West names an unchanged squad for the fixture.

Kidlington are looking to end their torrid run when they host Dunstable.

Ady Fuller’s side are rooted to the foot of the table with no points and no goals.
