JAMIE McCuaig hit the winner as reigning champions AFC Hinksey were made to battle for a 1-0 victory at Oxford Yellows, writes Tim Siret.

Yellows keeper Ryan Davis kept his team level before Jeroy Constant set up McCuaig for the only goal.

Aaron Barrett scored twice as Barton United got their season going with a 3-2 home win over Dorchester United.

Ben Strong also netted, with Daryl Potter and Chris Philips replying.

Len Sackley also bagged a brace in King’s Arms Wheatley’s 5-2 win at Cross Keys Wallingford.

Dan Webb and brothers Benji and Luke Cuff completed the voctory, while Jim Lee and Liam Woods were on target for Keys.

Ryan Curtin fired a four-timer in Kidlington Royals’ 8-0 battering of Mansfield Road in Division 1.

Daniel Sherbourne bagged a brace, with Tom Franklin and Lewis Coyle completing the rout.

John Hudson hit a hat-trick as OUP Wanderers saw off Standlake Garage 4-1.

Kyle Harris provided their other goal, while Karl Dickinson netted for Standlake.

Alkali Henry bagged a hat-trick as Oxford FC thrashed Sutton Revolution 7-1.

Edun Marvin (2), Basanti Reve and Fama Mara were also on target.
