NORTH Oxford’s new captains drove into office on Saturday.
David Dobson (right) will lead the men’s section for the next 12 months, while Linda Strange is the women’s skipper and Jamie Hudson is the junior captain.
Elsewhere, Cara Gainer will represent England on a tour of Australia, taking in four events.
The Oxfordshire golfer, along with Emily Toy, of Cornwall, will be the first women to take part in the annual trip.
The squad will play in the Australian Master of the Amateurs, Australian Amateur, NSW Amateur and Avondale events during January.
Gainer was the 2017 English Women’s Matchplay champion and was tied for fourth in the English Women’s Open.
