LIGHTNING struck twice for a fourball at Oxford Golf Club last week.
Half the group were left celebrating their first holes in one.
Jamie McIntyre was the first to shine, finding the cup at the 196-yard 12th hole – the toughest par three on the course.
Playing partner Phil Edwards, a clubmate at Wokefield Park, near Reading, followed suit on the 201-yard 15th hole.
There was also a hole-in-one at North Oxford, where new junior captain Jamie Hudson got his year off to a great start with an ace at the 213-yard tenth hole while playing in the Pimms Cup.
