EDDIE Pepperell’s run of high-profile tournaments continues when he tees off at The Players Championship today.
The Abingdon golfer is amongst an exclusive field at Sawgrass due to his ranking inside the world’s top 50.
Pepperell begins his round at 1.35pm (GMT), partnering American duo Nick Watney and Bronson Burgoon.
He will be hoping for more consistency after finishing 57th at last week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, Florida.
The 28-year-old pocketed more than $20,000 in prize money as a result.
Meanwhile, Oxfordshire’s Cara Gainer has been selected to play for England later this month.
The 23-year-old will play at the Italian Women’s International at Is Molas GC from March 20-23.
