EDDIE Pepperell completed a miserable BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth today.
The Abingdon golfer needed a near miracle to make the cut after a disastrous seven-over-par opening round of 79.
But things got little better on the second day after he shot a four-over 76 to end the tournament on 11 over.
Pepperell made a steady start after opening with two pars, but the first of six dropped shots came at the third.
Another followed at the fifth, before back-to-back bogeys at the seventh and eighth saw him reach the turn four over.
Pepperell dropped another shot at the 11th and then fell to six over for the day with a bogey at the 14th.
He did, however, ensure he would not finish bottom of the leaderboard with birdies on 16 and 17.
