OXFORD United trio James Roberts, Josh Ashby and Jonny Giles are all in line to play for Oxford City tonight after agreeing loan moves.

Last week U's boss Michael Appleton revealed any younger players unable to get into the 18-man matchday squads would be available for temporary spells in non-league to gain experience.

It also boosts a City side who are second bottom in Vanarama National South and visit Bath City this evening.

As Giles is 22, he has moved on a 93-day loan, while Roberts and Ashby join on youth loans, which are more flexible.

Roberts, who spent time at City last season, is the only one of the three to make a first team appearance for the U's in this campaign.

The striker was a late substitute in the Checkatrade Trophy victory against Exeter City last Tuesday.
