OXFORD recorded a 31-15 victory over Risborough in the Southern Counties semi-finals of the South West Junior Vase.
The BB&O Championship side now face Dorset-based side Puddletown in the final on Saturday, February 24.
Alex Kelley’s try, converted by Thom Murtons, put Oxford deservedly in front.
But they fumbled the re-start, allowing Risborough to level at 7-7 almost immediately.
Oxford retook the lead, though, when Ali Gibb ran in from the halfway line, before Dan Williams also went over for an unconverted try to make it 17-7.
Risborough reduced the arrears with a penalty before the break.
The visitors then closed to within two points when they scored an unconverted try and should have taken the lead, but missed a penalty.
However, Oxford’s replacements came to the fore, leading to Karl Crockford and Gibb crossing, Murtons converting on both occasions, to secure victory.
Wallingford lost 26-7 at home to Beaconsfield in the Southern Counties semi-finals of the South West Intermediate Cup.
Rhys Arnold crossed for the visitors’ only try on the hour mark, which Phil Dawes converted.
Meanwhile, Littlemore drew 12-12 at Hungerford in the BB&O Premier.
The hosts took the lead, but Jamie Kirkaldy drove over, Stewart Beale converting, to level the match.
Dan Turner then scored an unconverted try to make it 12-7 to Littlemore, but Hungerford hit back to earn a draw.
