TENNIS: Double joy for North Oxford
NORTH Oxford’s men had double reason to celebrate.
After first winning the Babolat Thames Valley Winter League Premier Division, they then triumphed 12-0 in their first match of the AEGON South West (East) Regional Division against Virgin Active Gloucester.
North were level with Oxford Sports going into the final match.
North won 8-0 at home against Witney, whereas Sports could only win 7-1 at Abingdon.
