OXFORDSHIRE’S 18 and under girls secured promotion to Division 5 of the LTA’s County Cup in Birmingham.
Despite trailing 4-2 after the singles against Suffolk, victories in all three doubles matches secured a 5-4 win.
Alice Watkinson and Kyla Haslett-Hawkins, and Taysie Gujral and Chloe Elliott won in the third set of their matches.
Oxon needed to win all their doubles matches against Shropshire to land promotion and they earned a 6-3 victory.
The boys suffered relegation from Division 4 in Norwich.
They were beaten 8-1 and 7-2 by Cambridge and Norfolk respectively, before losing 6-3 to Wiltshire.
