Felicity McNab, who lives in Kidlington, has had a distinguished career as a translator, working for the UN and the UK Government.
As a Christian, she was amazed that there was no modern English translation of French theologian Jean Calvin’s 16th-century essays, which helped spearhead the Reformation, and decided to produce one herself. Her translation of True Piety (New Generation, £7.99) includes commentary from leading academics.
