l would like to add my voice to the D. Holloway letter in your paper recently.
I raised this point of receiving two letters per each hospital appointment. I asked my consultant and he said it was not possible to stop this practice, he had tried but failed. He also said a letter to our MP, Mr Cameron, would only be passed on to several different departments and would achieve nothing – this sadly was the case.
As a footnote, I believe the letters are pre-printed in India with the final detail put in at the hospital. What a waste of time and money.
