THEATREgoers will be able to get into the festive spirit with a panto production of Dick Whittington in Oxford.

The Oxford Playhouse will perform the panto from Friday, November 30, until Sunday, January 13.

The production will tell the timeless story of Dick as he ventures to London with his faithful cat by his side to seek his fortune.

Leon Craig, who plays Dame Doris Donut, back row right, said: “It has been a very intense process, with long days but the rehearsals have been full of laughter. I am really looking forward to seeing everything come to life on stage.

“I think audiences will love the show, it’s full of surprises.

“It’s got everything from a magical aerialist cat to water gun fights – and some brilliant tunes.”
