IT can be an over-used expression that someone died doing what they loved, but the family of Jason Laman are indeed taking solace that he spent his final moments on the rugby pitch in Holton of the club he loved so dearly.
His daughter Chloe spoke eloquently about her “hero and inspiration” and, from the tributes made to her father by his clubmates, her sentiment is widely shared.
