A WOMEN and her two pets were rescued from a burning house in Abingdon.
Firefighters broke down the door of the house in Masefield Crescent on Saturday after a neighbour called them to report smoke coming out of the house.
Fire crews were called to the scene at about 3.40pm and carried the woman out with her cat and dog.Once the fire was extinguished, fans were used to clear the home of smoke.
A spokesman for the fire service said an investigation was being carried out to establish the cause of the blaze but added that it was not being treated as suspicious.
South Central Ambulance Service also attended and treated the woman, but she did not need to be taken to hospital.
