OXFORD Magistrates' Court:

  • Wendi Davies, 40, of Bayswater Mill Road, Headington, admitted drink driving in Ambassador Avenue, Cowley on January 12. Had 92 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £500 and told to pay £50 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given 23-month driving ban.

     
  • Kin Lee Tin, 32, of Botley Road, Oxford, admitted driving while disqualified on Botley Road, Oxford, on January 12. Given 12-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months. Told to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and pay victims’ surcharge of £80 and £85 costs. Given 18-month driving ban. Admitted driving without insurance on the same date. No separate penalty.

     
  • Darren Blacker, 43, of Stanway Road, Headington, admitted producing cannabis, a Class B drug, at his home on September 27. Fined £400 and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £15 and £85 costs.

     
  • Joshua Derosa, 18, of St Nicholas Road, Wallingford, admitted intending to damage property or being reckless as to whether property was damaged in regards to a mobile phone in Wallingford on December 29. Given six-month conditional discharge.

     
  • Leighton James, 28, of Gleann Cottages, Woodstock Road, Witney, admitted driving while disqualified and driving without insurance on the A40 at Witney on November 2. Community order made with six-month curfew requirement between 9pm and 6am. Told to pay victims’ surcharge of £60 and £85 costs.

     
  • Jake Peck, 19, of Sandy Lane, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, admitted assault by beating at Ashhurst Way, Oxford, on January 8 last year. Given 18-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Supervision requirement for 12 months and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £80 and £85 costs.

     
  • Julie Grant, 40, of Webbs Close, Wolvercote, admitted stealing food worth £10.18 from Tesco Metro in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on November 11. Community order made with drug rehabilitation requirement for six months and supervision requirement for nine months. Told to pay £60 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

     
  • Mark Simmonds, 41, of Kennet Close, Berinsfield, admitted two counts of assault by beating and causing criminal damage to a telephone worth £80 in Long Wittenham on August 28. Community order made with curfew requirement for eight weeks between 7pm and 7am. Restraining order made barring him going within 100 metres of Saxons Heath, Long Wittenham. Told to pay £45 victims’ surcharge and £50 compensation and £85 costs.

     
  • Richard Pipkin, 40, of Lucy Faithfull House, Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted possessing crack cocaine, a Class A drug, in Thames Street, Oxford, on January 15. Also admitted failing to surrender to magistrates on January 17 and breaching a conditional discharge. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £15 and £40 costs.

BANBURY

  • Iain Brodie, 28, of Westfield Road, Witney, convicted of stealing a Philips electric razor from Boots in High Street, Witney, on November 7. Fined £75 and told to pay £37.50 compensation and £20 victims’ surcharge.

     
  • Daniel Meadows, 24, of Primrose Place, Kidlington, admitted stealing £2,179 from employer Calvin Klein Jeans, in Bicester between March 8 and March 24. Community order with 150 hours’ unpaid work. Told to pay £2,179 compensation, £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

     
  • Samantha Smith, 22, of Rachel House, Dashwood Road, Banbury, admitted receiving 16 stolen DVDs on December 2. Fined £75 and told to pay £10.10 compensation and £20 victims’ surcharge

     
  • Sebastian Plaga, 25, of Danesmoor Street, Banbury, convicted of being drink and disorderly in a public place in People’s Park, Banbury, on October 14. Fined £60 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge and £150 costs.

     
  • Maurice Workman, 56, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, admitted stealing alcoholic drinks worth £72.55 from Morrisons in Banbury on December 24. Given six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

     
  • Linas Batavicius, 35, of Highworth Place, Witney, admitted drink driving in Highworth Place on October 9. Had 94 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £750 and told to pay £75 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given 24-month driving ban.

     
  • Hayley Stout, 24, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, admitted stealing a bottle of vodka worth £20 from Marks & Spencer in Bridge Street, Banbury, on July 8, two bottles of vodka worth £40 from the same shop on July 7, two cans of lager worth £3.30 from One Stop in Horse Fair, Banbury, on July 20, and lager worth £4.25 from a Co-operative store in Ruscote Arcade, Banbury. Also admitted two counts of failing to surrender to magistrates on July 23 and September 14 and possessing heroin, a Class A drug, in Britannia Road, Banbury, on October 26. Community order made with six-month drug rehabilitation and supervision requirements. Told to pay £3.30 compensation.

     
  • David Wright, 22, of Heather Road, Abingdon, admitted causing criminal damage to a desktop computer and hard drive and common assault at Nuffield Health Centre in Welch Way, Witney, on November 21. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £15 victims’ surcharge.

     
  • Depu Mohammed, 24, of Moorland Close, Witney, admitted causing criminal damage to the bodywork and windscreen of a Citroen Saxo at Tesco in Station Lane, Witney, on June 10. Community order made with 120-hour unpaid work requirement. Told to pay £750 compensation and £85 costs.

     
  • Andrew Needle, 26, of Horsham Close, Banbury, admitted assault by beating on November 30 in Horsham Close, Banbury. Fined £300 and told to pay £100 compensation and £30 victims’ surcharge.

  • Jason Bourton, 33, of Fernhill Road, Cowley, admitted possessing knife in High Street, Oxford city centre, on February 1 and breaching a conditional discharge. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £15.
