THE reaching of a £3m target to allow the building of a new centre to support cancer sufferers and their families is brilliant news.
Maggie’s Oxford could not have picked a worse time, economically, to launch its drive for a new centre but the public have responded magnificently.
To every person who contributed, we say that whatever donation you made, it will prove priceless to thousands of people in years to come and you should be justifiably proud to have played a part.
