BANBURY.
- Mark McGowan, 23, of Elmhurst Way, Carterton, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Witney on January 26. Also admitted failing to surrender to magistrates on February 18. Fined £250 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs.
- David Williams, 22, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted two counts of burglary at Horley Scout Camp, Hornton Lane, Horley. Stole garden machinery from a shed on December 9 and December 18. Given 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months with 12-month supervision requirement and 20-day activity requirement. Also told to pay £300 compensation.
- Paul Selkirk, 38, of Briar Furlong, Ambrosden, near Bicester, admitted driving without due care and attention, driving without a licence and driving without insurance in Merton Road, Ambrosden, on October 10. Fined £300 and told to pay £300 compensation, £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given six points on driving licence.
