  • Daniel Smith, 30, of Sycamore Crescent, Radley, convicted of assault by beating in Garsington on July 8. Community order made with curfew requirement and told to pay £200 compensation and £95 costs.
  • Sebastian Gaziano, 22, of Harcourt Hill, Oxford, convicted of assault by beating in St Clement’s Street, Oxford, on November 24. Community order made with 100-hour unpaid work requirement and told to pay £300 compensation, £60 victims’ surcharge and £400 costs.
  • Matthew Webb, 31, of Hamble Road, Didcot, admitted fraud by false representation and fraud by failure to disclose information between January 1, 2012, and January 20, 2012, in Oxfordshire. Given 18-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months with 12-month supervision requirement and three-month curfew requirement. Told to pay £2,500 compensation.
  • Jaroslaw Milek, 45, of no fixed address, admitted outraging public decency by defecating on the floor in Barclays Bank in Bridge Street, Banbury, on April 23. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Fined £100 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge.
  • Georgina Kavanagh, 35, of Broad Close, Kidlington, admitted possessing crack cocaine and heroin, both Class A drugs, in Woodstock Road, Oxford, on March 11. Community order made with 12-month supervision requirement and drug rehabilitation requirement. Told to pay £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Charlotte Pauling, 26, of The Night Shelter, Oxford, admitted three counts of persistently begging in a public place in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on December 24, January 19 and February 22. Fined £30 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge.
  • Louise Price, 22, of Norris Close, Abingdon, admitted stealing cosmetic items worth £47.94 from Boots in Bury Street, Abingdon, on April 5. Given eight-month conditional discharge and told to pay £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Matthew Pullen, 19, of Donnington Bridge Road, Oxford, convicted of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Didcot on December 29. Fined £180 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge and £620 costs.
  • Sarah Griffiths, 44, of Croxford Gardens, Kidlington, convicted of stealing various items worth £448.68 from Tesco in Marcham Road, Abingdon, on December 17, and various items worth £365.10 from Tesco in Marcham Road, Abingdon, on December 20. Community order made with three-month curfew requirement and six-month supervision requirement. Told to pay £60 victims’ surcharge and £620 costs.
  • Freya Bell, 23, of West Brook Road, Grove, near Wantage, admitted handling stolen gloves and a stolen purse in Roger Bacon Lane, Oxford, on February 7. Fined £250 and told to pay £25 victims’ surcharge and £155 costs.
  • Dennis Kelly, 48, of Churchill Place, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on November 3. Given 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Luke Grant, 26, of no fixed address, admitted stealing perfume worth £16, perfume worth £492.98 and perfume worth £34 from Debenhams in Oxford on April 18. Given six-week prison sentence.
  • Alfred Andrews, 47, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted burglary at The Crown pub in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, and stealing a wallet containing £35 and an iPhone worth £535 on February 10. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Community order made with 12-month supervision requirement and six-month drug rehabilitation requirement. Told to pay £525 compensation and £60 victims’ surcharge.
  • Sarah Grisbrooke, 45, of Bradstocks Way, Sutton Courtenay, near Abingdon, admitted stealing headphones, hair removal devices, camera lenses and watches worth £5,900 by finding at Didcot Enterprise Centre, Hawksworth, Didcot, between February 1 and March 15. Given 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months with 12-month supervision requirement. Told to pay £4,700 compensation, £80 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Zhen Jiang, 47, of Pattison Place, Oxford, had a meat cleaver in a public place in Nowell Road, Oxford, on March 17. Community order made with 160-hour unpaid work requirement. Told to pay £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • John-Lee Swatton, 28, of Helleborine Close, Greater Leys, Oxford, admitted harassment in Underhill Circus, Headington, Oxford, on December 27. Restraining order made and fined £110. Told to pay victims’ surcharge of £15 and £50 costs.
  • Joseph Stevenson-Knox, 35, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted burglary at Brasenose College, Radcliffe Square, Oxford, on March 13.Stole an Acer laptop worth £500 and £2 cash. Community order made with six-month drug rehabilitation requirement and 12-month supervision requirement. Told to pay £502 compensation and £60 victims’ surcharge.
