WITH the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson as manager of Manchester Unt and the appointment of Everton’s David Moyes to succeed him, our own U’s boss, Chris Wilder, will become the sixth longest-serving manager among the 92 clubs in the football league and at the young age of 45 is well on the way towards following in the footsteps of the great man himself.
