A SEA of cyclists wearing pink rode from Blenheim Palace out into the Oxfordshire countryside yesterday to raise money for charity.
The Ribbonride, which took place a day after the Ribbonwalk, featured hundreds of riders and aimed to raise £50,000 for Breast Cancer Care.
Riders including Martin Brewster, left, and pals Sally Pitts and Heather Adcock, above, were able to take part in either the 26 or 60-mile route.
Sam Anand, 41, from Bladon, said: “I am doing this in memory of my mum who died two years ago from breast cancer. It was a long illness and this was something I wanted to do for her.”
Organiser Sarah Curgenven said: “What a great day. It was marvellous to see everyone kitted out for the challenge.”
