OXFORD.

  • Lee Boden, 30, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing two cans of lager and a pot of yogurt worth £10.14 from the Co-operative in Oxford on April 28. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence made on April 11. Fined £50 and told to pay£20 victims’ surcharge.
  • Rachel Ellam, 44, of Rackham Place, Oxford, admitted producing cannabis, a Class B drug, on January 29 in Rackham Place. Told to pay £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Timothy Hamilton, 40, of St Andrew’s Road, Didcot, admitted failing to provide a breath specimen on March 10. Disqualified from driving for two years, fined £800, ordered to pay a victim’s surcharge of £85 and £85 costs.
  • James Lockhart, 63, of Westfield, Harwell, admitted driving a motor vehicle while above the legal alcohol limit. Drove on Gaverston Road, Harwell, on March 10, with 111 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath with the legal limit being 35mgs. Ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months, pay a victim’s surcharge of £60, £85 costs and disqualified from driving for three years.
  • Rhys Phillips, 29, of Godfrey Close, Wood Farm, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis. Fined £75, ordered to pay victim’s surcharge of £20 and £50 costs. Order made by magistrates for the cannabis to be destroyed.

BANBURY.

  • Stephen Watkins, 28, of Rotary Way, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order. Failed to attend a supervision appointment at Banbury probation office and a suspended sentence of 12 weeks – suspended for 12 months – has now been implemented.
