PROTESTERS have started to gather outside Oxford's Said Business School over a visit by the President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame.
Police officers, including mounted police, are monitoring the peaceful protest outside the Oxford University business school in Park End Street.
So far about 20 protesters have gathered outside the front of the business school and are holding banners.
The controversial African president has been invited to give a keynote speech to the Oxford Africa Business Conference, a student-led event organised by the Oxford Business Network for Africa.
The conference is about economic growth in Africa.
A spokesman for the Said Business School said: "We prize open discussion and in line with the university's Freedom of Speech policy we have not sought to prevent the students from extending this inviitation."
