SHIPTON-ON-CHERWELL: A rare first edition of TS Eliot’s The Waste Land poem could fetch thousands of pounds at Bonhams auction house today.
Cowley-based charity Oxfam is selling the book with about 26 other items, which have an overall estimated value of between £13,800 and £20,500.
The copy of The Waste Land was published by a private press and is one of about 460 copies.
It has an estimated price tag of £2,000 to £3,000.
