PEOPLE are being urged to nominate a local hero to get the Hollywood treatment.
As part of the opening of the new Vue cinema in Bicester’s £70m town centre re-development, the handprints of “worthy” residents will be immortalised in concrete at the site.
The winners will take part in the opening ceremony on July 10 by making a print of their hands, before a red carpet VIP screening of the new Monsters University Disney Pixar film.
General manager of Vue Entertainment Ryan Newland said: “There are so many people that do a lot of good for others in Bicester and we want to highlight this, by giving them celebrity status.”
Nominations can include anyone who contributes to the local community.
Email 500 words about the person and why they are a worthy winner to lisa@thirdcity.co.uk by Friday.
