Sir – I wanted to thank all the friendly helpers and especially the farmer at Southdown Farm, near Witney, for a fantastic open day on Sunday, June 9.
It was a truly inspiring day for young and old alike with an array of chickens, geese, ducks, guinea fowl, piglets, pigs, kids and goats.
The focus on the environment and organic products in these difficult times is admirable and I also wanted to thank Southdown Farm for their encouragement towards bees and pollinators and for their support towards the new apiary for West Oxfordshire Beekeepers (WOBEEK).
