Sir – With the floods in Central Europe, it is quite likely that we will have another flood this summer.
Rather than lurching from crisis to crisis, it would seem time for businesses, residents and the council to work together to create defences of the sort created in York, Tunbridge Wells and indeed Oxford.
I would be grateful if people would contact me if they are willing to be involved.
