I HAVE just received my copy of the Cherwell Link and would like to share with Kidlington residents what relates to our council tax payers.
Page three, litter blitz, September 23-27, volunteers wanted to prop up what the council should be doing with our council tax.
Page four (BSL access), Banbury, Bicester and no mention of Kidlington.
Page five, two sentences about Friday and Saturday market. “Fundango” – where? Banbury and Bicester, not Kidlington.
Page six, Job Club meets at the Art Centre, Banbury.
Page seven – Banbury and Bicester again.
Page eight and nine, all about Bicester’s new town facilities.
Page 10, Policing security event. No information on what questions were asked and what answers were given.
Page 11, Summer Hubs – where? Banbury, Bicester, not Kidlington.
Page 13, “Eat neat” Banbury. Three lines say it all: “We want to keep Banbury attractive and get businesses on board.”
Page 14, not one mention of anything for Kidlington.
And I must add, after 15 months, not a mention of an update on our pedestrianised high street.
