I WAS reading in the Oxford Mail, right, about Bicester’s new town. Good luck to the people of Bicester and the surrounding area. I just wish some of their luck would rub off on the residents of Kidlington.

The new Bicester revamp is a joint venture between Sainsbury’s and Cherwell District Council, costing £70m.

The bollards for Kidlington’s High Street is £52K, which is a fraction of the revamp.

Residents of Kidlington, Bicester and Banbury all pay the same amount of council tax. So come on, Cherwell, play the game and sort out our high street as soon as possible.

Post Script: I saw a mirage today – two PCSOs in the high street. I wonder how many traffic violation tickets were issued?
