TEACHERS joined young actors for a lively rendition of Oom Pah Pah at West Witney Primary School’s production of Oliver!

Pupils of all ages took to the stage in the production on Tuesday and yesterday.

Luke Keenan, 11, from Witney, who played Fagin, said: “I loved being Fagin because he rules the gang and I hoped that the parents loved our performance.”

Charlotte Woodruff-Coombes, 11, from Witney said: “My favourite part of playing the part of Nancy was hearing the roar of the applause when I took my final bow and letting out a sigh of relief knowing I’ve done my part.”

Artful Dodger Joshua Stares, 11, from Witney said: “My favourite part was the lighting and sound, being Dodger was a privilege.”

And Jacob Cookson, 11, from Witney added: “I liked being Oliver because he’s the main part and he’s got a lot of lines.

“My favourite part was when the teachers danced to Oom Pah Pah.”
