A GLITZY 1920s atmosphere was created as Headington School took The Great Gatsby as its theme for the Year 13 leavers’ ball.
The pastoral director of the sixth form, Rosemary Kitto, said: “The ball was a huge success. Everyone enjoyed the champagne reception and the carousel in the school grounds.”
A three-course dinner, with entertainment provided by a band called Lost In Music, was enjoyed by students, parents and staff .
