A MAN who was jailed for leaving a young chef unable to walk or talk has admitted manslaughter after his victim died.
Logan Usher, of Croxford Gardens, Kidlington, punched Michael Rogers twice in an unprovoked attack at the Red Lion pub in the village in June 2010.
The 23-year-old admitted causing grievous bodily harm and was jailed for two-and-a-half years.
Mr Rogers spent almost 14 months at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. Despite signs of a partial recovery he died of the serious brain injury in August 2011.
Usher pleaded guilty yesterday at Oxford Crown Court and will be sentenced on August 30.
