ABINGDON: A robber who avoided jail after targeting a store where a heavily pregnant woman was behind the counter has broken the terms of his suspended sentence.
Shane Bishop, of St Helen’s Mews, Abingdon, was spared jail after he admitted the offence at the Spar shop in Abingdon on March 31 this year.
He was back in Oxford Crown Court yesterday and pleaded guilty to stealing a barbecue and meat from Waitrose, Abingdon on July 22, stealing alcohol and a sandwich from the One Stop store in Abingdon on July 8, and a futher offence on July 10. Sentencing is on September 9.
