FIVE acres of barley were destroyed by a field fire last night. <>
Four fire crews from Oxford were called to the blaze near Tilbury Farm in Tilbury Lane, Botley, at 8.31pm. Firefighters were there until 11pm.
No one was hurt in the incident.
Reader James Coleman sent in these pictures of the fire near the A420 Cumnor bypass.
Mr Coleman took the pictures from the back room of his home in Botley.
