BOTLEY: The death of a great-grandmother-of-five who fell down the stairs was an accident, an inquest heard.
Doris Williams, 97, was found in her Conifer Close home at the bottom of the stairs and was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital on April 22, but died later that day.
The inquest at Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court heard yesterday that her cause of death was a head injury.
Oxfordshire coroner Darren Salter recorded a verdict of accidental death.
