OXFORD: A new radio station was launched in Oxford yesterday.
Jack FM 2 took over from Glide FM on the 107.9 frequency at 10am yesterday morning.
The new radio station is aimed to capture female listeners and is designed to complement the more male-oriented Jack FM. It is the sixth radio station name in 16 years to use the 107.9 frequency. Jack FM is already operating in five locations across the UK and originates from Canada where the first Jack FM radio station was launched at the end of 2002.
