House prices rose slightly last month, according to the latest official figures.
The Government’s Land Registry said the average price of a property in the county in August was £245,875, an increase of 0.2 per cent on the previous month.
Over the course of the last year, prices have risen by 1.3 per cent – in line with national figures – and values remain at their highest since April 2008.
