About 2,700 people attended a night of music, drama, poetry and dance based on the work of The Oxford Times, sister paper of the Oxford Mail, at the Ashmolean Museum on Friday.
Tim Hughes, the paper’s music editor, co-curated the event to reflect coverage of local acts, including Flights of Helios, Candy Says, Grudle Bay, The August List and Reichenbach Falls.
Photographer Marc West, whose news pictures were projected on to the atrium, said: “This was a great chance for our papers to blow their own trumpet and really connect with our readers.”
