COLLEAGUES turned out in force to say farewell to Frank Druller, works manager at Nuffield Press at Cowley.
They are pictured outside the old military academy, at the corner of Hollow Way, where William Morris opened his car factory.
Mr Druller is seen holding his retirement gifts – a radio in his right hand and what looks like a shaver in its case in his left.
The picture comes from a large collection belonging to Alfred John Blake, a former director, who lives at Appleton.
As we have recalled, Nuffield Press produced publicity material for Cowley-built vehicles.
