CROWDS of fans flocked to Cowley in 1979 to see model trains in action.
The exhibition at Cowley Congregational Church hall included several large working layouts and scale models, built and restored by local enthusiasts.
Organiser Colin Judge said: “Many people are interested in model railways because it is such a wonderful hobby. You get a great sense of achievement from building your own models.”
Proceeds from the exhibition went to the church heating fund.
