THIS jumbo-sized exhibit took pride of place when pupils at Carswell Junior School, Abingdon, put their term’s work on display.
The creators pictured alongside it – left to right, Richard Gladman, eight, Kevin Ryves, seven, Sarah Thomas, eight, and Anna Thorne, eight – could be justly proud of it. This and other models ranging from an Inca chief to a scale model of Abingdon Abbey were on show at an open evening at the school in 1975.
