Staff at the city’s two universities are being balloted on strike action after being offered a one per cent pay rise.
Oxford and Oxford Brookes universities are among higher institutions all over the country being asked to vote on strike action.
Support staff who are members of Unite and Unison will also be balloted on industrial action.
The ballot is due to close on Thursday, October 10.
