A postal union has extended the deadline on a ballot of Royal Mail staff on whether to go on strike over Government plans to privatise the service.
It was due to close today and would affect Oxfordshire if it went ahead.
But the Communication Workers Union has said it will now close the ballot on October 16 and the result will be announced on the same day.
The earliest possible strike date would be October 23.
