NORTH OXFORD: Developers hoping to convert a former Masonic Lodge into flats have been sent back to the drawing board.
The city council’s west area planning committee voted unanimously to throw out plans for 17 flats on the site of 333 Banbury Road when it met on Tuesday.
Planners recommended the proposal be rejected because developer Homespace had refused to make half the flats affordable, breaking council policy.
