HOW we will miss our own local heroine Christine Wallace now that her adventure on BBC’s Great British Bake Off has ended.
She made her exit at the quarter final stage on Tuesday when her meringues fell flat with judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood.
But Christine has proved herself to be a first-class pastry chef and a great sport during the programme.
We can now look forward to an orgy of baking in Didcot when Christine gets all the finalists together at her home when the show’s run ends.
Now that is a reunion to make the mouth water.
