WANTAGE Mummers will be performing around the area on Boxing Day, keeping an historic tradition alive.
The mumming play is essentially a story of the triumph of good over evil, and traditionally they frequently reflected current events.
The Mummers will perform in Faringdon Market Place at 10am; Wantage Market Place at 11am; and at The Hatchet pub, in Childrey, at 1pm.
