DREAMING of a white Christmas? Well forget it, because weather experts say it is extremely unlikely that even the smallest flurry of snow will be seen in Oxfordshire on Monday.
Richard Wild, a director of the Oxford-based Tornado and Storm Research Organisation, said the white stuff was only likely to land in the far north of Scotland.
Dr Wild added: "Based on the current meteorological models, the chances of a White Christmas next week across the country are virtually zero."
A spokesman for the Met Office said it was expecting dry and frosty weather for the start of next week.
