COACHES bringing visitors to Oxford would be expected to park and drop their passengers at the Oxpens Coach Park, above, unless application has been made to the council for a permit to drop off in the city centre.

After what could be, in many cases, a long journey, passengers may find the need to use the poor conveniences at the coach park.

This can be, at times, a very busy place and to visit such a poor amenity is not a good start for their visit to our city.

I ask, with the ongoing lengthy refurbishment of our city toilets, where on the list is the above?

As a busy area, I would have thought it would have been one of the first to be set as an example to visitors. Apart from the above toilets the nearest ones would be the Westgate Car Park then Gloucester Green or Market Street. I just wonder what impression some people will take with them when they depart from our city of Dreaming Spires.
